Why do you have different grade or class names, as opposed to the other schools?

Waldorf Schools teach their learners according to their age level in accordance with the soul’s development (as stipulated by the teachings of Rudolf Steiner), and not their grade level as in a government school.  For this reason and to avoid confusion, we adopt a year number in the high school and a class number like the other Waldorf Steiner schools according to their age grouping. Being a member of an LSEN class means that the child is following a special programme designed with his/her learning difficulties in mind. Our grades or classes are therefore not equivalent to that of the mainstream schools.
