Khanyisa was started in 1994 by an initiative of parents who wanted their special needs children to have a Waldorf education.

The school has grown and changed over the years and we currently serve children who are unable to cope academically in the mainstream. Our small classes allow children to receive individual attention from highly qualified and dedicated remedially- and Waldorf-trained teachers.
